Willow Layne Films tells love stories that feel like memory — soft, cinematic, and full of soul.
When Maddie came to us, she wanted a brand that moved the same way her films do — with intention, emotion, and artistry.
Our job was to translate the feeling behind her storytelling into a visual identity and website that could speak before the words ever do.
web design and full brand identity
Maddie’s previous branding didn’t reflect the emotional depth of her work. While her films were cinematic and rich with feeling, her visual identity lacked cohesion — it didn’t evoke the same atmosphere she created through film. She needed a brand that could hold both elegance and warmth, emotion and artistry.
We started by anchoring the brand in duality — romance and nostalgia, softness and structure.
Her new identity blends poetic typography, a muted yet moody color palette, and subtle textures that mirror the tactile feeling of film. Every design element was chosen to support her storytelling: cinematic movement, emotional pacing, and effortless connection.
On the website, we leaned into visual rhythm. The layout flows like a film sequence — slow reveals, intentional white space, and immersive galleries that feel alive. Strategic copywriting reinforces her voice: tender, emotive, and quietly confident.
Just a little contact page in the interim, while she was struggling to create her own website. No formal branding or web design.
The new Willow Layne brand feels alive.
It captures the way her films make you feel — that breath between moments, the warmth of memory, the beauty in the in-between.
Her new site now attracts couples who value art, emotion, and intention — the same way she does.
